Founder & CEO

Opeyemi (Yemi) Fadipe

Opeyemi “Yemi” Fadipe is the Founder and Executive Director of Bridge of Hope MultiService Centre. She is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience supporting immigrant families, newcomers, and individuals affected by domestic violence, homelessness, and mental health challenges.

Yemi holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba and has worked in community-based roles across Edmonton and Manitoba, including housing support, youth recovery, Indigenous community services, and domestic violence intervention.

Inspired by her own journey as an immigrant and mother, Yemi established Bridge of Hope to create a safe, culturally responsive space where families can access support, rebuild stability, and thrive.

Compassionate, dedicated, and community-driven, Yemi is committed to strengthening families, uplifting newcomers, and fostering a safer, more inclusive Edmonton for all.

Program Coordinator

Toyosi Ogundare

Toyosi Ogundare is the Program Coordinator at Bridge of Hope MultiService Centre, bringing years of frontline experience supporting children, youth, and families with diverse and complex needs. With a background in human services and disability support, Toyosi has worked as an Educational Assistant with Edmonton Public Schools and as a Community Support Worker with Entrust Disability Services, where she supported individuals living with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health concerns.

Her work is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed practice. Growing up in a large family, Toyosi developed strong values of resilience, compassion, and community care—values that guide her approach today. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where vulnerable individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered.

At Bridge of Hope MultiService Centre, Toyosi coordinates programs, assists with community outreach, and helps ensure families—especially immigrants and newcomers—receive the resources, advocacy, and emotional support they need to thrive in their new communities.

Certified Clinical Counsellor (CCC)

Mary Ajayi, MA, Psychotherapist

Meet Mary, a compassionate and highly skilled therapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Advanced Psychology, and a certification in Applied Psychology. She is a Certified Clinical Counsellor (CCC) and is extensively trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful approach for addressing trauma and emotional distress.

Mary’s therapeutic practice incorporates a wide range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Humanistic Therapy. By combining these modalities, Mary tailors her interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, offering a flexible and client-centered approach to therapy.
